I'm Diego, a photographer and photography teacher with over a decade of industry experience.

I’m based in Portugal, but I work all over Europe, wherever I’m needed.

If I could summarize my work in a word, I think it would be "organic".

In a world of short attention spans and "perfect" images created by 3D renders and AI, I strive for authenticity.

Aesthetically, I tend to go for images with a very clean look, often aiming for that organic feel of perfect imperfection. My inspirations range from the Portuguese sun to Art, History and daily life itself.
Being a fan of sweets and comfort food, I try to translate that into my work as well; if you see a lot of lollipops on colored backgrounds in my work, I probably ate them at the end!

When I'm not creating images, I'm sharing my interest in photography with the next generation of photographers, through teaching. It's something that brings me a lot of joy and ultimately keeps me fresh and up to date.
